Innovations in materials

Constructions for tomorrow

This thematic cycle includes a set of scientific events proposed by the laboratory of mechanical and materials engineering (L2MGC) and its national and international partners. The unifying theme of the cycle focuses on innovations in cementitious materials used in civil engineering.

The different scientific events programmed are covering the research on fresh materials (rheology, innovative concrete formulations incorporating recycled concretes or sediment...) and the hardened state (concrete in fire situation, concrete participation in the energy efficiency of buildings...).

In each of these themes, will be analyzed the scientific advances, the required methodologies, the scope of the results already obtained, and those to come, for society and environment, taking into account the economic framework.
