Dr. Mina C. Johnson-Glenberg is Professor of Cognitive Psychology at the Department of Psychology at the Arizona State University - USA, invited by laboratory LDAR
The new term for virtual (VR) and augmented realities (AR)
is XR. It is becoming more affordable to make
highly immersive learning content for VR headsets and AR on a mobile
phone. Dr. Johnson-Glenberg will discuss a) how the embodiment can be
used for learning in these XR technologies broadly, and then b) some
examples of how XR is being used for STEM (Science Technology
Engineering and Math) education.
