MIR - Maison internationale de la recherche

The IAS was set up on July 11, 2016 at the MIR - Maison Internationale de la Recherche #1, rue Descartes, 95000 Neuville-sur-Oise.

The MIR hosts the IAS premises, workspaces (individual and collective workspaces) for invited fellow researchers, a 150-seated Auditorium for conferences and 16 apartments, ranging from one to three bedrooms, to accommodate visiting professors

The MIR also hosts two laboratories: GEC (Géosciences) and ERMECCe (Biology) as well as I-MAT (Microscopy and Analysis), a scientific experimentation platform

The MIR was designed by Brochet-Lajus-Pueyo, an architectural firm from Bordeaux.

Laurent Saksik, a visual artist, has been elected/chosen as an interior and exterior designer. He was sponsored by the French program to promote Arts ("1% artistique")
